To support our continuous growth, we are looking for a Tableau Developer to join an amazing team of like-minded professionals and help our customers transform how they work and improve business performance.
The ideal candidate will excel in developing dynamic, insightful reports and dashboards using Tableau, have strong expertise in SQL, and possess excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Report and Dashboard Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain visually compelling dashboards and reports in Tableau to meet business requirements.
- Optimize Tableau reports for performance and usability.
- Ensure data visualization aligns with business goals and analytical insights.
2. Data Preparation and Integration:
- Use Tableau Prep for data cleaning, transformation, and preparation to ensure accurate and reliable datasets.
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to integrate and transform data from multiple sources.
3. SQL Expertise:
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from relational databases.
- Ensure data accuracy, quality, and consistency in Tableau dashboards through robust SQL validation.
4. Customer Interaction and Communication:
- Work closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their business requirements and translate them into actionable Tableau solutions.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to end users on Tableau tools and best practices.
- Present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
5. Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
- Monitor and maintain Tableau dashboards and underlying data sources to ensure continuous availability.
- Resolve technical issues and implement enhancements as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Tableau Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Prep.
- Advanced SQL skills with the ability to write and debug complex queries.
- Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for customer interaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with other BI tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.
- Experience in Agile development methodologies.
