SFCC B2C Technical Architect

To support our continuous growth, we are looking for a SFCC B2C Technical Architect to join an amazing team of like-minded professionals and help our customers transform how they work and improve business performance.

Job Responsibilities:

• As a Technical Lead – SFCC, you will translate client requirements into technical designs, design schemas, implement SFCC extensions, design and create product catalogue hierarchy, integrate with content management systems, and search engines, unlocking the business value of SFCC.
• You will independently drive design decisions to ensure the overall solution’s necessary health.
• Develop Digital Consumer experiences based on a foundation of SFCC
• Design and Develop – features such as faceted navigation, customer account, shopping cart, product search, order management, promotions, social e-commerce, Integrations like Payment, Analytics, reviews, Tax…etc.
• Able to analyze, debug/troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to e-commerce and SFCC implementation.
• Interact with clients to create end-to-end specifications for e-commerce solutions and articulate business needs in terms of SFCC Business Manager Configuration.
• Provide inputs and direction to associates on the team for design and implementation. Collaborate with your architect to define implementation processes and quality gates and standards
• Should lead 5 to 7 members and mentor the team members.
• Code reviews as per SFCC Standards and should contribute to improvising the standards.
• Write application code that exceeds the defined quality standards.
• Should be able to own end-to-end project technical delivery of 5 to 7 team projects
• Should take ownership in delivering the quality product not only for self but also for the team
• Should be able to design solutions and document specification documents
• Ability to provide Estimates for a given Task / Module.

Job Requirements:

• Mastery of e-commerce implementation specifically on the SFCC platform
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming, relational databases and building script
• Deep understanding of the deployment considerations specific to SaaS based cloud servers.
• Understanding of all Administrative options/tasks/interfaces available in Business Manager.
• Knowledge of price and inventory concepts; worked with external vendors to set up feeds and processes for these projects.
• Experience in the design and development of third party (backend) integration.
• Address/shipping/tax validation, Payment authorization, CRM, OMS without help.
• Expert in DOM structure, jQuery event handling and frontend third party integrations.
• Demonstrated consistent excellence in applying this competency across multiple projects and/or organizations.

Experience:

• 6 Yrs of experience SFCC.
