At Cloud Odyssey, we are looking to hire an IT Support/Admin professional to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will ensure smooth IT operations across the organization by providing support for hardware, software, and network issues. You’ll manage user accounts, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure system security and data backups. We’re seeking a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills and a strong foundation in IT systems and administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Microsoft 365 Administration Manage and support Microsoft 365 applications including email SharePoint OneDrive Teams and other Office applications
  • Laptop Provisioning Set up and configure laptops for new employees ensuring all necessary software and configurations are in place
  • Onboarding and Offboarding Assist with the IT aspects of employee onboarding and offboarding processes including account creation permissions and equipment setup retrieval
  • Technical Support Provide first-line support for all IT-related issues including hardware software networking and peripherals
  • System Maintenance Perform regular maintenance and updates on IT systems to ensure optimal performance and security
  • Networking Assist with basic network troubleshooting and maintenance tasks including WiFi routers and switches
  • Hardware and Software Management Troubleshoot and repair hardware and software issues install updates and manage IT assets
  • Documentation Maintain accurate and up-to-date IT documentation including system configurations procedures and user guides
  • Security Implement and monitor IT security measures to protect company data and systems

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Proven experience as an IT Administrator or in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration and support iwth over 3-7+ years of experience.
  • Strong knowledge of laptop provisioning configuration and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and basic troubleshooting
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Good to Have

  • Cloud Server Management Experience with cloud servers particularly for Git and other DevOps tools ensuring seamless integration and operation
  • DevOps Tools Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices such as CI CD pipelines Jenkins Docker and Kubernetes
  • Virtualization Knowledge of virtualization technologies like VMware HyperV or similar
  • Scripting and Automation Ability to write scripts for automation of routine tasks using PowerShell Bash Python or similar languages
  • Backup and Recovery Experience with data backup solutions and disaster recovery planning
  • Endpoint Management Knowledge of endpoint management solutions such as Microsoft Intune or other MDM tools
  • Vendor Management Experience managing relationships with IT vendors and service providers
  • Compliance and Standards Understanding of IT compliance standards and regulations such as GDPR HIPAA
